The AC/DC Cabinet is a power distribution unit used in 110kV, 220kV, and 500kV substations as well as power plants, designed to distribute both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) power to auxiliary systems within the substation.
It supplies power to essential components such as protection relays, control devices, computer systems, lighting, and electrical outlets, ensuring reliable and continuous operation of the substation’s internal systems.
