MK Cabinet in Digital Substation
The outdoor MK intermediate junction cabinet for digital substations is designed to consolidate control and measurement signals outdoor equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, current transformers, and voltage transformers. These signals are then digitized and transmitted via fiber optic cables to the control and protection panels inside the operation room.
The MK cabinet for digital substations, designed and manufactured by AIT Group, fully meets the stringent requirements of Process Bus technology—particularly in terms of thermal management for protection and control devices installed inside the cabinet.
To accommodate outdoor installation environments, the cabinet is built to IP54 protection standards, with an optimized internal layout and equipped with a dedicated electrical cabinet air-conditioning system. This ensures reliable operation under various harsh weather and environmental conditions in Vietnam, including high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and high humidity.
