AIT GROUP COMPLETES ENERGIZATION OF TWO 110KV OUTGOING FEEDER BAYS – CAM RANH 220KV SUBSTATION
Aiming to enhance electricity supply efficiency in Cam Ranh – Khanh Hoa in the second half of 2025, KN Cam Lam Solar Power Joint Stock Company and AIT Group have successfully energized and safely commissioned two 110kV outgoing feeder bays at the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation.

Overview of the installation area of the two 110kV outgoing feeder bays at the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation

The project, consisting of two 110kV outgoing feeder bays at the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation and a 110kV transmission line connecting to the KN Cam Lam Solar Power Plant, is invested by KN Cam Lam Solar Power Joint Stock Company. With extensive experience in implementing similar projects, AIT Group was honored to be selected as the contractor for design, supply of technological equipment, and construction for this project.

Following EVNCPC’s directive that investors of solar power plants must urgently coordinate to complete all related items (including the 110kV connecting line) to finalize the connection transfer to the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation, AIT Group identified this as a project requiring synchronized resource allocation and close coordination among all parties to accelerate progress on critical components, aiming for the earliest possible energization.

In response to this requirement, AIT Group’s engineers and staff executed the project with strong determination, working closely with the investor, preparing detailed plans for every step and component, strictly adhering to schedule and ensuring quality across all construction phases. By August 9, 2025, the two 110kV outgoing feeder bays at the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation and the 110kV connecting transmission line to the KN Cam Lam Solar Power Plant were fully completed and successfully energized.

Once put operation, the project will significantly enhance the power generation efficiency of the KN Cam Lam Solar Power Plant and Cam Lam Solar VN after their connection transfer to the Cam Ranh 220kV Substation. At the same time, it will ensure safe and stable operation of the power grid in southern Khanh Hoa, improve power quality, and increase reliability of electricity supply in the region. Ultimately, the project will create strong momentum for socio-economic development in Cam Ranh in particular and the entire Khanh Hoa province in general.
