Overview of the 110kV Dong Hoi Industrial Park Substation and Tapping Line Project

The project was developed to construct a 110kV substation and a 110kV tapping line connected to the regional transmission grid in Hoang Mai, aiming to provide stable and reliable power supply to Dong Hoi Industrial Park and the surrounding coastal areas of Northern Nghe An Province.

AIT Corp was honored to be selected by the Investor – STRAYWIRE One Member Limited Liability Company – as the contractor for equipment supply and installation, substation construction, as well as the provision of related services for energization and operation.

Drawing on experience numerous previously implemented projects, AIT Corp’s engineers and staff were determined to complete the entire project on schedule, strictly complying with the quality requirements set by the Investor. By early February 2026, the 110kV Dong Hoi Industrial Park Substation and Tapping Line Project was officially accepted and successfully energized.

Once put operation, the project will add a significant power supply source directly serving Dong Hoi Industrial Park, while strengthening grid interconnections among 110kV and 220kV substations across Nghe An Province. The project is expected to help reduce load on existing 110kV substations, shorten medium-voltage supply radius, enhance power system stability and reliability, and establish a solid electrical infrastructure foundation to attract investment and support the development of industry and seaport services in the northern area of Nghe An Province in the medium and long term.
