AIT GROUP KICKS OFF Q2/2025 WITH SUCCESSFUL ENERGIZATION OF 110KV NAM THANH PHO SUBSTATION – THANH HOA PROVINCE

The project, funded by Northern Power Corporation and managed by the Northern Power Projects Management Board, has a total investment of over VND 52 billion. It includes the construction of a double-circuit 110kV transmission line and the new Nam Thanh Pho 110kV Substation, in accordance with the Thanh Hoa Provincial Power Development Plan for 2016–2025 (with outlook to 2035) and the local 110kV power system development plan.

Leveraging its extensive experience in implementing major power projects in collaboration with the Northern Power Projects Management Board, AIT Group was once again honored to be selected as the contractor responsible for the supply, transportation, and installation of electrical equipment for the substation. AIT ensured smooth project execution, meeting all quality requirements and the investor’s technical standards.

Not only is this one of the key projects for Thanh Hoa’s power sector in early 2025, it also serves as a meaningful tribute to the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Projects Management Board (May 1, 2020 – May 1, 2025). Thanks to the unwavering dedication and efforts of engineers and staff from AIT Group and partner contractors—who worked tirelessly through the holidays—the project was officially energized and commissioned on April 1, 2025. This accomplishment has paved the way for a successful Q2/2025 for both AIT Group and Northern Power Corporation.

Once operational, the project will help reduce load on the 110kV Thanh Pho (E9.9), Tay Thanh Pho (E9.27), Quang Xuong (E9.29), and Sam Son (E9.11) substations. It will also minimize power losses, enhance grid optimization and flexibility, and improve the reliability of power supply for Thanh Hoa City, the Nam Thanh Pho urban area, and the Le Mon Industrial Park./
