As part of the Nam Dinh Provincial Power Development Plan for the period 2016–2025, with a vision to 2035, and in alignment with the province’s 110kV power system development roadmap, the project for installing a capacitor bank on the medium-voltage busbar of Giao Thuy 110kV Substation was officially launched in November 2024. The project is invested by the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC), with Nam Dinh Power Company – a branch of EVNNPC – acting as the project representative. AIT Group was once again honored to be selected as the contractor responsible for the procurement and installation of all equipment for the entire project.

Despite the harsh winter weather in northern provinces at the end of the year, AIT Group’s engineers and staff, along with partner contractors, carried out construction with strong determination, coordinating effectively in shifts and working through holidays and the Lunar New Year to meet the investor's deadlines.

By March 2, 2025, the capacitor bank on the medium-voltage busbar of the 110kV Giao Thuy Substation was successfully tested, energized, and safely put into operation, fully meeting the committed quality standards.

This successful commissioning once again demonstrates the AIT Group spirit – dedicated to ensuring progress and quality in every assigned project. Once operational, the project will enhance power supply reliability in Giao Thuy District, Nam Dinh, thereby contributing to the region’s socio-economic development.
