The project, managed by Northern Power Corporation and represented by Nghe An Power Company, involved replacing the existing capacity of Transformer T1 to prevent overload at the Bac A 110kV Substation, which had frequently been operating at full capacity. In addition, the project included the construction of a new pump house and firewater tank, along with the installation of a new water-based fire protection system, all in compliance with current fire safety regulations. AIT Group was selected as the contractor responsible for procurement, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and SCADA integration for the entire project.

The successful energization and commissioning of this project will help enhance power supply reliability, reduce energy losses in the area and surrounding regions, and meet the growing electricity demand. It will also strengthen grid connectivity and improve operational stability and reliability of the power network in Nghia Dan District in particular and Nghe An Province as a whole. The project aligns with the provincial power development plan for Nghe An (2016–2025, with outlook to 2035), which was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade./.
