AIT GROUP SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZES AND COMMISSIONS THE 110KV BINH GIA SUBSTATION IN LANG SON

The 110kV Binh Gia – Lang Sơn transmission line and substation is a strategic project funded by German ODA, with a total investment exceeding VND 250 billion. AIT Group was entrusted as the contractor responsible for the procurement, transportation, and installation of equipment for both the transmission line and the substation.

Commencing construction in 2022, the project includes the development of a new 110kV substation equipped with two 40MVA transformers (with one 40MVA transformer installed in Phase I), along with a newly constructed single-circuit 110kV transmission line stretching over 55 kilometers across three districts: Cao Loc, Van Quan, and Binh Gia in Lang Son Province.

In response to the growing electricity demand in Lang Son, the 110kV Binh Gia transmission and substation project is regarded as a key infrastructure development. It not only enhances the reliability of power supply but also serves as a catalyst for socio-economic growth in the province and surrounding regions. Thanks to the close support of local authorities and the leadership of EVNNPC, AIT Group and participating contractors worked with urgency and determination, deploying resources efficiently to ensure both quality and timely completion of the project.

The 110kV Binh Gia - Lang Son Substation Successfully energized on July 30, 2024
After more than two years of construction, the 110kV Binh Gia – Lang Son transmission and substation project was officially completed on the evening of July 30, 2024. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of AIT Group’s engineers, employees, and partner contractors. It also serves as a meaningful tribute to the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024). Once in operation, the project will provide safe, stable, and high-quality power to consumers in the districts of Binh Gia, Van Lang, Trang Dinh, and Bac Son. It will significantly enhance power quality and reduce voltage losses across the regional medium-voltage grid.
