AIT GROUP SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZES AND COMMISSIONS THE 110KV SUBSTATION AT THUAN DAO INDUSTRIAL PARK

Thuan Dao IP 110kV Substation

With the goal of developing the 220kV and 110kV power grid in Long An Province and improving the regional power network to enhance supply stability and reliability while reducing energy losses, the 110kV Substation at Thuan Dao IP and its connecting transmission lines were implemented on Road No. 11, Thuan Dao IP Expansion Area, Long Dinh Commune, Can Duoc District, Long An Province, in accordance with the province’s Power Development Plan. The project was invested by the Southern Power Corporation and managed by the Southern Power Project Management Board.

Continuing the series of successful collaborations between AIT Group and the Southern Power Corporation, in this project, AIT Group was once again trusted to supply and install equipment and materials. This included relay setting calculations, energization procedures, operation and troubleshooting, surveillance camera systems, and fire protection systems.

Recognized as one of the key power infrastructure projects in Long An Province for the 2021–2025 period, AIT Group and construction contractors closely followed the approved schedule to ensure timely completion. On April 27, 2024, the Thuan Dao IP 110kV Substation was officially accepted and successfully energized.

Once operational, the substation not only contributes to the economic and social development goals of Long An Province but also supports the development of the transmission and distribution power grid in alignment with regional socio-economic development strategies. It enhances the quality and reliability of electricity supply in the area.
