AIT GROUP SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZES AND PUTS INTO SAFE OPERATION THE 110KV TRUONG XUAN INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBSTATION AND CONNECTING TRANSMISSION LINE

Located in the 110kV Truong Xuan Industrial – Commercial – Service Cluster, Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province, this Group C project is invested by Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC). AIT Group acted as the contractor for supplying primary and secondary electrical equipment, SCADA communication systems, and installation supervision—under the procurement package for 110kV grid equipment as part of EVNSPC’s 2024 investment plans, also covering power companies in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, and Tay Ninh.

To monitor progress and recognize the contractors’ efforts, on the afternoon of November 10, 2024, Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan – Deputy General Director of EVNSPC – made an on-site inspection and encouraged all project personnel. Despite facing challenges such as bad weather and site clearance delays, AIT Group and other contractors mobilized maximum manpower and equipment to meet the planned schedule.

With a high level of determination and close coordination between contractors, including AIT Group’s engineers and technical staff, the project was successfully tested, energized, and put into operation on November 15, 2024. In addition to supporting upcoming major events in Thap Muoi District, the project holds great significance as EVNSPC celebrates the 70th anniversary of Vietnam’s electricity sector (21/12/1954 – 21/12/2024).

Once in operation, the facility will play a vital role in strengthening the power supply, meeting growing demand, improving electricity quality in Truong Xuan IP and surrounding areas, attracting investment, and supporting local socio-economic development. The project is aligned with the Dong Thap provincial power development plan for 2024–2025.
