Overview of the New Construction of the 110kV Phuc Tho 2 Substation and Tee Connection Project

The project is invested by the Hanoi Power Corporation (EVNHANOI) and is part of EVNHANOI’s 110kV grid investment plan to enhance power supply capacity and reduce loading on existing 110kV substations in Phuc Tho District and surrounding areas. AIT Corp was honored to be selected as the contractor responsible for the supply of primary equipment, control and protection panels, AC/DC power supply panels, 22kV medium-voltage switchgear lineup, and the construction and energization works of the project.

With a strong sense of responsibility, AIT Corp’s engineers and employees, together with partner units, strictly complied with technical and safety standards, ensuring the project was completed on schedule and met all quality and technical requirements. On December 27, 2025, just ahead of the 2026 New Year, the project was officially completed, contributing to safe and reliable power supply, reducing load on existing 110kV substations, and meeting the rapidly growing demand in suburban areas.

Once in operation, the project will share load with the existing Phuc Tho 110kV Substation, thereby improving power supply reliability, enhancing power quality, reducing losses, and creating a more flexible looped configuration within the 110kV grid in western Hanoi.
