MOVING TOWARDS Q1/2025 GOALS, AIT GROUP SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZES 110KV NAM SACH 2 SUBSTATION – HAI DUONG

As a category C, level II project, it was assigned by Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) to Hai Duong Power Company Limited as the investor. The project officially broke ground on October 24, 2024, with a total investment of VND 118.2 billion. It includes the construction of approximately 4.539 km of new double-circuit ACSR-300 transmission lines, and a 110kV Nam Sach 2 Substation with a planned capacity of 4x63MVA. In this phase, a T1-63MVA transformer was installed.

For this project, the joint venture of AIT JSC and Capital Energy Development JSC was honored to be selected by Hai Duong Power Company Limited – under EVNNPC – as the contractor for Package G01: Construction of the transmission line and substation, supply and installation of goods, and testing and commissioning of electrical equipment for the 110kV Nam Sach 2 Substation. The project also included the installation of a full suite of systems for control, protection, metering, communication, SCADA, surveillance cameras, and fire prevention and fighting in compliance with EVN and EVNNPC standards, following current regulations for unmanned substations.

In alignment with the direction from the provincial leadership and EVNNPC, the engineers and staff of AIT Group and Capital Energy Development JSC quickly mobilized resources and began implementation immediately upon receiving the site handover. By March 26, 2025, the 110kV Nam Sach 2 project was successfully energized and accepted for operation, ensuring safe and efficient functionality. The substation meets the growing power demand of Hai Duong Province, specifically An Phat 1 Industrial Park, Nam Sach District, and surrounding areas.

The completion of the Nam Sach 2 110kV transmission line and substation will strengthen grid connectivity and improve the stability and reliability of power supply in the region. It contributes to achieving power system reliability targets and reducing outage rates, serving the economic, political, and social development goals of Hai Duong Province in general, and Nam Sach District in particular. This project also supports the provincial power grid development plan for 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050, as directed by the Prime Minister./.
