SUCCESSFUL COMMISSIONING OF 110KV NAM CAM TRANSMISSION LINE AND SUBSTATION PROJECT – NGHE AN
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025), the 110kV Nam Cam Transmission Line and Substation Project in Nghe An was officially accepted and energized on April 25, 2025.

As part of the broader cluster of 110kV substation and transmission line projects including Yen Thang, Ha Hoa, Nam Cam, Tan Chi, Tan Ky, Binh Gia, and Yen Lac, the Nam Cam project was invested by the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) and managed by the Power Grid Project Management Board. Launched in 2021, this project plays a vital role in improving power supply reliability for the regional grid in general, and for Nam Cam – Nghe An in particular. AIT Group was honored to serve as the contractor responsible for procurement, transportation, equipment installation, and construction throughout the entire project.

With strong commitment and teamwork to complete the project as a meaningful gift for the national celebration, engineers and staff AIT Group, along with related units, worked closely and efficiently to accelerate the project schedule. On April 25, 2025—just ahead of the national holiday—the 110kV Nam Cam transmission line and substation project was successfully tested, energized, and officially put operation, meeting all technical standards and requirements set by the investor.

The project is expected to significantly enhance power supply reliability, meet the electricity demand of the Nam Cam Industrial Park, and facilitate the safe and stable operation of the regional power system. It also lays a foundation for gradually developing a smart distribution grid in densely populated areas and emerging administrative zones.
