SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZED AND PUT INTO OPERATION THE 110KV YEN CHAU SUBSTATION

A Category II, Group C energy infrastructure project, the 110kV Yen Chau Substation is a key development under the Northern Power Corporation, managed by the Northern Power Project Management Board. The project has a total investment of VND 65 billion and includes the construction of a new 0.43 km double-circuit 110kV transmission line and a 110kV substation with a capacity of 2x25MVA (Phase 1: installation of one 25MVA transformer).

Equipped with advanced systems for data acquisition, metering, remote monitoring, and control, the substation is designed for unmanned operation and fully integrates with the regional remote control center via standardized communication protocols.

In the final stretch of 2023, AIT Group and its partners worked tirelessly with a strong sense of commitment to meet the project's timeline. The operation of the 110kV Yen Chau Substation will support growing local demand, promote regional economic development, and improve social welfare in Son La Province.

The 110kV Yen Chau Substation was successfully commissioned and officially put into operation on December 21, 2023.
