Overview of Terminal T3

The construction of Terminal T3 commenced in August of 2022, which has been designed to embody modernity and to be fully integrated into the surrounding infrastructure with its spans more than 112,500 square meters including one basement and four above-ground floors, capacity to serve 20 million passengers on an annual basis.

All the Project Management Board, AIT Group’s engineers and employees, and other contractors recognized the project's significance as a national endeavor to commemorate the 50th anniversary of National Reunification; therefore, the strong united front has exerted their utmost efforts to overcome challenges in mobilizing manpower, materials, and finances with unwavering determination to fulfill the directives of the Prime Minister.

By strong and consistent support from the Authorities leaders at all levels, AIT Group’s board of managers, in strategic collaboration with internal departments and key partners, successfully delivered the Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3 project ahead of schedule, while meeting and exceeding all established quality standards.

The systems under AIT Group’s responsibility were rigorously inspected, energized, and safely integrated into operation, ensuring the seamless handling of the inaugural flight on April 17, 2025. From April 28, 2025, the terminal will commence full-scale operations for all domestic flights, marking a significant step forward in enhancing operational capacity and efficiency.
