WARM HOMES FROM AIT GROUP: NEW HOPE FOR POOR HOUSEHOLDS IN NGHI LOC, NGHE AN

In line with the Vietnamese tradition of mutual support and compassion – “The healthy leaves protect the tattered ones” – the AIT Group Trade Union recently visited disadvantaged families in Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province. During a field trip in March 2024, after conducting surveys and holding discussions with local authorities as well as direct conversations with the families, AIT Group decided to offer five housing support grants, each worth 50,000,000 VND, to five poor households in the district.

This housing support program is not only a community engagement activity from AIT Group and its Trade Union, but also a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to social responsibility. It reflects their efforts to join hands with localities nationwide in promoting social welfare and supporting families in dire need. All recipients of the housing support are classified as poor households, living in severely dilapidated homes, often with ill or elderly heads of household and limited labor capacity.

On behalf of the Nghi Loc District leadership, Mr. Ho Nam – Member of the District Party Committee’s Standing Committee and Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee – expressed his gratitude to AIT Group and affirmed that the houses will be constructed promptly, ensuring safety and durability. Alongside the 250,000,000 VND donated by AIT Group, the Fatherland Front Committees of the respective communes will mobilize the community, neighbors, and other philanthropists to support the completion of solid, sustainable, and beautiful homes on schedule.

On this occasion, the AIT Group Trade Union also visited each family individually to offer encouragement and support, urging them to remain resilient through their current hardships. It is hoped that, through this program, the five households in Nghi Loc, Nghe An will soon have safer, more spacious homes to settle in and stabilize their lives. With a secure place to live, they will be motivated to strive for better economic stability and improved living conditions.
