SUCCESSFULLY ENERGIZING THE T2 TRANSFORMER AT 110KV QUANG CHAU 2 SUBSTATION, BAC GIANG PROVINCE

110kV Quang Chau 2 substation is a project with protection control system designed according to digital substation technology (Process Bus technology), transmitting and receiving data outdoor equipment and protection control device is fully digitized according to IEC61850-9-2 and IEC 61850-8-1 standards. This technology helps to replace the entire use of copper cables equipment in substation yard outside to the central control room with highly reliable fiber optic cables. 

The fact that the data is digitized helps to reduce the time of construction, installation, connection and calibration testing; reduce the risk of accidents caused by short-circuit during operation, improve the reliability of power supply and stable operation of the system. 

At 20:26 pm on December 4th, 2022, T2 transformer of 110kV Quang Chau 2 substation was successfully energized and carried the load, ensuring the technical requirements and system operating standards. The completion of energizing T2 transformer helps to reduce the load for T1 Transformer, provides additional load expansion for the whole Quang Chau industrial park, ensuring the reliability of safe and stable power supply.
