MK Panel in Traditional Substations
The outdoor MK intermediate junction cabinet is designed to centralize control, monitoring, and measurement signals outdoor primary equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, earthing switches, current transformers (CTs), and voltage transformers (VTs) at each feeder bay, before routing them to the protection and control panels inside the operation room.
The use of an MK cabinet in substations helps reduce secondary cable lengths and facilitates easier circuit monitoring, fault detection, and troubleshooting during operation.
The MK cabinet is manufactured to withstand harsh outdoor environments, including coastal areas and polluted industrial zones. Notably, the cabinet features automated polyurethane gasket foaming technology, ensuring high sealing integrity and effective protection against water ingress—delivering absolute safety in conditions of high humidity, heavy rainfall, and extreme heat.
